Come as you are. Leave More self-led.

I help exhausted, people-pleasing women stop self-abandoning, set clear boundaries, and trust themselves again — one cobblestone step at a time — so they can feel peaceful, authentic, and secure in their relationships.

You’ve spent years being the dependable one — the person who says yes, smooths things over and keeps everyone else comfortable.

You change the way you dress, speak, think, choose your opinions, shape your friendships, and even adjust your hobbies, weight, and preferences to earn love.

From the outside, you may look capable and calm. Inside, you may feel exhausted, resentful, invisible, and unsure what you actually want.

People-pleasing often doesn’t feel like a problem until it becomes unsustainable.

You over-explain.
You apologize too much.
You say yes before checking in with yourself.
You keep the peace, but you lose yourself in the process.

That’s the tipping point: realizing this way of living is costing you too much.

This is a calm, honest place to exhale — and a serious place to do the work.

Here, we focus on small, imperfect, consistent steps: cobblestones that build a new path over time.

Together, we work on:

  • recognizing self-abandonment patterns

  • reconnecting with your needs, values, and preferences

  • saying no without over-explaining

  • setting boundaries without guilt

  • tolerating discomfort when others are disappointed

  • building self-trust through practice, not pressure

Not perfection or harshness, just grounded, repeatable change.

If you’re ready to stop over-giving, stop over-explaining, stop wearing a mask and start living with more peace, clarity, and self-respect, you’re in the right place.

You do not have to earn love by being endlessly useful.
You can be caring and still choose yourself.
You can take one cobblestone step at a time and still change your life.

She didn’t lose herself all at once. She disappeared in pieces. For years, she tried to be who she thought she needed to be—good, agreeable, enough. But beneath the roles she played and the expectations she carried, something inside her was quietly unraveling. Until one day… she couldn’t ignore it anymore. Royal Jelly is a deeply honest journey through betrayal, identity loss, emotional awakening, and the courageous return to self. This is not a book about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you were before the world told you who to be. Inside these pages, you will learn to: • Recognize the patterns beneath your patterns • Understand your nervous system, not fight it • Rebuild trust within yourself • Release the need to earn love • Come home to the woman you’ve always been For the woman who is ready… this is your becoming.

This book is truly amazing! With each page I felt more seen and heard than I ever have in my life. It was as if the author had front row access to my thoughts. The wisdom contained within these pages is priceless. From this point forward I will be nourishing my soul by feeding it Royal Jelly.

Reading this book felt like I had my own personal fairy godmother holding my hand, leading me back to the person I search for daily. Maybe it’s because I, too, grew up in Appalachia with a family who hunted and gathered and quilted and spent more time at church than anywhere else, maybe it’s because Velvet is the epitome of who I want to be. Maybe it’s both. This is a quick read, but a book I know I will revisit monthly when I journal, when I need my Velvet Godmother to remind me to rest and seek peace.

"Working with Velvet as a life coach has been my privilege, and very rewarding. When entrusted with my goals, she took the time necessary to map out smaller baby steps to return to me, backed with biblical wisdom and guidance. This breakdown from start to finish made my intimidating, hard to accomplish goals, very achievable!

I am thankful for the time I have had with Velvet, and I would highly recommend her to help you achieve your life goals, those goals that often times seem just out of reach. With a little coaching, and a lot of self discipline, you will have the wisdom and follow through needed to become the woman you long to be."

"Velvet helped me work through some life changes that I had recently. I had ended a relationship and moved into a new home and she asked me questions and provided ideas that brought me through a very difficult time. She taught me some organization strategies and helped me create goals so that I could make progress in these areas. She was truly a lifesaver to me and I would recommend her to anyone who is going through life's transitions. She was so encouraging and helped me have those "ah-ha" moments that I needed to get through it all."

" From our very first session, I felt truly seen and understood. Velvet had a way of connecting with me in a calm, nurturing way. I was at a crossroads in both my relationship and my career, and she helped me see what was always there — strength, courage, and a divine knowing that something had to shift. With her guidance, I gained the confidence and trust in myself to look within and take the next right step. Velvet lovingly guided my slow awakening, and I believe our work together was a vital part of my healing. I feel blessed that our paths crossed, and I can't thank her enough for helping me on my journey to remember and realign with the woman I always was.”
